Is it safe to keep a beehive indoors?
Yes. The hive is fully enclosed, and bees access the outdoors through a dedicated tunnel or pipe system. This ensures safety for both the bees and the people nearby.
Is it hard to maintain?
No. It requires minimal maintenance:
- Refilling the feeder when needed → Just top up the bees’ food whenever it runs low.
- Occasional checks on the colony → Take a quick look at the hive from time to time to make sure everything is fine.
- Optional seasonal adjustments depending on the region → Make small tweaks for the season or climate if needed, depending on where you live.
In short: Very little work – just refill, check in occasionally, and adjust if the season requires it.
Does it come with bees?
That depends on your location:
In some regions. delivery with bees is possible.
For international customers, the hive is delivered empty, with guidance for local colony installation
Do bees get stressed indoors?
No, as long as the conditions are stable and natural behaviors (like flying out) are supported. The design respects the bees' natural rhythm and provides them with proper orientation and exit options.
Is it safe for bees to live in a plastic beehive?
Yes. The plastic used in the hive is non-toxic, food-grade, and UV-resistant, specifically selected to be safe for bees and long-lasting in different environments.
Unlike untreated wood, plastic doesn’t absorb moisture or bacteria, making the hive more hygienic and easier to clean. It also offers better insulation and structural stability.
The material has been tested with live colonies in multiple climates and has shown excellent results in bee health and hive performance.

Installation

- Required: 20 mm drill bit or a core drill, if the construction object requires it (e.g., wooden or concrete walls).
- The opening in the wall after passing the tube is recommended to be sealed (with silicone or other suitable material).
- It takes around 20 minutes, a little more time than mounting the picture on the wall
Honey bee colony
Colony is very easy to find, just search for queen bee for sale or bees for sale (queen breeders and bee suppliers), or you already know some beekeeper.
- The bee queen should be selected; if not, it is good to be produced appropriately (by transplantation or silent replacement), which significantly affects the quality of the queen.(Important to ask local beekepeer)
- The hive or colony must be at least 1000 grams of bees or a minimum of 5 frames if sold as part of a hive with frames.
- Beekeeper's presence is reccommended
